Sending a shout out to old members and new members. I just love this group. I just got home from a weekend get-a-way Glad to come home to see 2 cute new blocks. Love the flower pot.

Pretty blocks, ladies. I got the basket one made but - not really satisfied with it, so will remake and hope for the best..lol Other block is ready to finish piecing it together. Keep those pictures coming.. Nice seeing you again Delphina..;o)

Thanks for the compliments. Twin Harbor, I love your color combinations! I'm still struggling with colors that go together. Lol!

I only read enough of the directions for The Farmer's Daughter block to verify the individual block sizes and thought it only had 3 colors. I really don't set a very good example for students, do I? I may use this experience as a connection story about reading all the directions first during my substituting days this week.

I tried out a variety of colors and prints and finally looked at my card making color cards and it said 'Near Navy' for a color near the mottled dark pink. I'm happy with that 4th color now.

Connie , you are not the only one that doesn't read the directions all the way before cutting... I have had to start over so many times. You would think we would learn. Love your colors. I am going to start my flower pot in a few min. Have a great day

Wow, the month of April is showing off some beautiful blocks so far. You guys are so fast. Just loving the colors you guys are picking.

Is it the lighting from the camera or did you turn the fabric the wrong way...Love those colors so bright...
