I hope to start my first block tonight after I'm off duty from watching my two grandchildren.

Nygal how old are your grandbabies? So nice that you get to watch them I hope your kids appreciate you for that! I know I miss my mom she used to help me with the kids when they were younger.

Ok, I am gonna try and tackle this block tonight. Looked up to see if there was any tricks to the trade of piecing those curves. Need a little luck this way, because I am determined to get it right.

Did you check out the links on the first post? The one is really helpful for techniques.

Thanks, Kristen0112, I just looked it up. For some reason the other day I tried to look at it and it didn't come up, but today it did. Was real helpful--

My granddaughter is 9 and her younger brother will be 5 in Nov. I am blessed to have them in my life on a daily basis. My dd is divorced and she does appreciate me and my husband for all that we do.
