You are welcome. This group is my own way of making myself go through the entire book... "I am not a quitter!... I am a quilter!" And friends make it all the more fun!

hugs, Jupiter

Yes, Amazon has been really quick at getting the book out. I spent some quality time with the book today when I should have been working...

The book is really lovely to look at and the instructions seem very clear - I love the spiral binding - I can't wait to get started! This is going to be great fun. Thanks for getting this organized Jupiter!

I received my book today!! I love the spiral binding, it will be so easy to read as it will lay flat. Beautifully illustrated and the instructions look to be very thorough.

A question.....can the templates be printed directly from the printer onto freezer paper?

You can buy freezer paper in a pack that is ready for the printer. I suppose you could cut some to 8.5" X 11" and print them... I have not tried it. Shop around the internet. You will find some.

I just placed my order on Amazon, it should be here Dec.1, 2010. I am excited and I'm sure I'll be asking for help, because I have not had very good results with applique in the past.

of course anyone can join in! please do!!! this is how we all learn and expand our knowledge; by trying new techniques it makes it easier to learn new when you have a group doing it with you to ask questions and work through problems together  i already have 4 different (hand-projects) i planned for the winter, but i think i'm going to have to find this book and join in this one too!
everytime i think i am NOT starting anything new someone here comes up with something new that i have to join in .. i will never catch up! best way to learn though

No CD that I know of. However, the book has good photos and is written well. I don't think anyone will have a problem with it.... and if you do, we are all here to play together and we will help you!
