Penny Haren's "Pieced Applique "... 1 block a week begins January 2011
#1092
O.K. another week is gone and I have no further progress to show. I am coming up to my DD's baby shower in September so need to spend some time organising that and sorting out making nappy cake for her. Can't do one for DIL's baby shower and not do one for DD!
I will wait patiently (or not) for pics of blocks to admire.
................Still waiting............ apparently I'm not really all that patient.

Judith, your Nosegay turned out so pretty! Your batiks are just lovely and make for some nice blocks.
Deecee, does Judith's wonderful block take the pressure off of me for tonight? I'm still stitching... I don't want to show y'all glued but unstitched blocks...

Thank you for your comments. Lara, my batiks squares are all scrappy and it will be an eclectic quilt to say the least! I did make a truly 'eclectic' quilt several years ago. I had a hodge-podge of squares and pieces leftover and some from my great-grandmother and even an embroidered piece from when I was about 10 years old. One night I was digging out something and brought all of these pieces and began placing them together. I fit them together with bridge pieces and before I knew it, it was together! I had it longarmed quilted and now it is on a guest bed and every time I walk by the room I enjoy it!
