Hi Again,

It's time now to start posting pictures of your December 2012 BOM block!! :D I will start with mine & I know that HOBBYCAT1955 is anxiously waiting to post her's also. This pattern called for 4 different fabric's. You will see that I chose to only use two color's. I felt my two fabric's were so lovely that I wanted to showcase them in this great block. Now I am anxious to see all of the pretty combination's of fabric that everyone else will decide to put together. Start your machines & get ready to sew!!

It was a great selection this yr and can't wait to see everyone's quilts when completed. Now onto 2013 and a new "theme"...What will it be?

Here is my December block. I really didn't cut off the tree trunks. I'm a better sewer than picture cropper. Now it'll be fun getting it sewn together, and I can't wait to see everyone elses. This was fun and lots of nice blocks.

Love them all - fun pattern. I am way behind, but hope to get them all done -- it may be next year this time. What a great project! Can't wait to see what is up for 2013!

Another beautiful block for the month of December!! :D It is different yet from the first few that has been posted & I like it alot. This is the fun part, getting to see how each person will decide to put theirs together. Is your white back ground suppose to represent snow? It looks like it to me. Love your tree fabric too. Thank you for sharing with all of us here on the Quilting Board.

This was the closest I could come to Christmas. I discovered that I don't have any christmas prints. Time to go shopping, I guess! Thanks for noticing the "snow".

My Calendar BOM's
 

I have my two Calendar BOM's together, just need the quilting, but that will take me a little while, so thought I'd post the quilt tops here. Now remember, I made one for both of my granddaughters, which means I did one of the blocks from this BOM and then did one of my own. So I think, there is some of both here and mine in each quilt. I loved te way they turned out.

Love your quilt tops! That flower pattern fabric really pulls it all together. Now I am eager to get mine done.

Nice tops...I'm still wking on my Hse blocks from last yr...One of these days they will all come together..

WOW....WOW...WOW! :D Your GD's Calendar theme Quilts for the 2012 BOM project, turned out absolutely gorgeous. LOVE both of them & I just know they wil be so pleased with them, when receiving them from their special Grandma. You can tell that these darling quilts were made with loving hands. Can't wait! I really don't NEED to keep doing this BOM but it has been so much fun with all of y'all!
But need year I'm only doing 1 block each month. This doing 4 still has me shaking my head saying, " what was I thinking!??"

Still have 1 more to do. It's started but I got sick yesterday so it'll have to wait.

I got mine done - and it is before Christmas! I know I won't have time to put the top together until after Christmas, though.

OUCH!!! After posting I see a HUGE mistake! How could I not have seen that while ironing the block or taking a pic? Color me red in the face!

Linda it looks just lovely to me!! :D I don't see a single thing wrong with it & as usual your work is impeccable. Your fabric's are so pretty & I love the white back ground, just like snow. We will all be so anxious to see all of 2012 BOM blocks together, when everyone gets around to it. Nice Job!!

Thanks, Sulabug! The background fabric shows up white, but it is actually a mottled beige and white with white stars. It is one of my favorite fabrics, but I am down now to less than a FQ of it. Of course I can't remember the name of the fabric, but I remember where I bought it. I hope they will still have some of it!

Hi All and Merry Christmas.. I have a couple of hours yesterday so here is the results of my December Block

Oh Boy...........another beautiful Christmas block for December's 2012 BOM project!! :D It's hard to believe that this year is over all ready, my where did it go too? :D I hope that everyone was having lots of fun, as I know that I sure did. Sulfa bug. Your beautiful block reminded me that I also had green fabric like yours and I also found that I had the red.
