Gus – thanks so much for the tute on G4. I’ll sure use that when I get to that block. You sure do make some nice looking blocks!
Anael – your E13 looks great even without the diamonds.
Katybob – such pretty blocks! I love how subtle G4 and F5 are.
Gladys – as always, your blocks are just beautiful! I have one in my group this time that I might want to re-do too. I too will wait to see how it looks once it is in with all of the other blocks.
Fraew – your re-do’s are wonderful. My stripes in B1 are going the wrong way too I think but I’ll just leave it. I’m a little dyslexic anyway! What are you doing with blocks that are getting replaced?
TymeToShine – you are in my thoughts and I hope all is well. I look forward to seeing more of your blocks once you can get back in that sewing room!

Here are three weeks of blocks. I have a lot of catching up to do. Holy Cow these are tough! You all set a high bar for me to try to reach!!!! It seemed like for each seam I sewed I was ripping out the next one to re-do. Tough, tough, tough. Fun though!

Week 9 – A-2, A-4, and B-11 – I don’t care too much for the B-11 combination of fabrics I chose, the orange and blue seems kind of dark. I might end up making a new block once I see how it looks when all of the blocks are finished.

you ladies are doing a beautiful job on your blocks. and i luv the unique fabrics and colors you are choosing. i am just sooooooo awful with colors. i guess, that's why i did a CW reproduction. let the manufactur choose my fabric and colors for me. such nice ovals, circles, Y seams. points. great job everyone. ohhhh, and i am doing another jane also. was thinking about making 5" blocks, and just added a 1/4 " around the edges. make that extra 1/2 in per block, makes the quilt 6 inches bigger, and etc. etc. decided i am just going to cut them all down, and make the normal 4.5 in blocks.

Wow, Judy! Fantastic blocks! I'd forgotten you're making two also. I especially like the fabric in A-9, but they're all wonderful.

Thank you for the compliments and encouragement. I know I'm insane for redoing but this is an insane project. Right? :)

I have taken some of the blocks apart and changed fabrics for the redos...this is easy to do for the ones that i English Paper pieced. The ones that I don't use for this, I have no idea.

Very nice blocks Fraew, Judy, Katybob and thanks for the G4 tutorial Gus - I do like the outer border you added ! I am going to start H2 today ! One of the girls in our Dear Jane group is over in the US to visit the Bennington Museum at the moment ! I would love to be with her to see the "Mother" Quilt - maybe one day !
