Ya'll know its going to be torture watching ya'll make that wonderful LBB quilt while I sit on the sidelines, but.....I just looked again and it just looks so hard! But....I'll certainly be cheering you on! I must finish AOTH and quilt some of these IRRs before I can begin thinking about the next project.

You know you will cave in Patti, so why not keep looking for a copy of the book that you can afford? Some of the pieces are a little smaller than AOTH, but look on the bright side - - - no scrolls!

Patti, it only looks hard, so did AOTH when we all started and look at us all now. I plan on increasing the size of the blocks and not doing so many, well thats my thoughts at the moment, but who knows what will grab me.

You can do it Patti you know you can.

Well...I think you both have more faith in me than I do! Do you need the CD along with the book? I might look at it again.. (gosh ya'll are such enablers!-- *shaking my head as ya'll drag me along...*

Just think Patti, you will have someone to blame if things go wrong. You can always say "I didn't want to do this but you made me." Take advantage. 8-) 8-) 8-)

No, one or the other would be OK. The CD would enable you to print out the designs, and with the book you would have to copy/print. The advantage the book as that the CD doesn't is that it has pics of the fabric she used, which would give you an idea of what to look for, as her designs are somewhat like broderie perse (SP) where you fussy cut fabrics for some of the flowers and fruit, before appliqueing. But it does have coloured pics of each block. Also, without getting up to look at the book, I'm not sure whether the CD has final construction details, but I am sure I could help you out with that, when the time comes.

Oh, Lesley!!! You're good!!!!!   I think you've addressed every possible excuse!!

LBB is such a beautiful quilt, and it would be a real challenge, but look how far we've all come with the AOTH. :-D :-D It is so-o-o-o VERY tempting! Maybe I'll have to ask for the book for Christmas! Then if another cyber sew is in the future, I'll be ready! It will take me a while to get up the nerve to attempt it!!!!!

I've learned that as soon as I say that to myself, I am sure to take forty forevers to find it.
I lose things under my pink nose!
