And we got a little too. Storms have been coming through this spring but we have gotten very little rain. It was fun to work in the garden yesterday with moisture in the soil. Most of the heavy lifting is done and I'm starting the plant the tender stuff. Hope we don't get any more frost. It looks like it nipped some of the raspberry blossoms. I only covered the strawberries when we had frost warnings and picked a couple quarts of the most flavorful fruits yesterday. Worth all my efforts.

Hope you all have a great rest of the week...if I get all the packing done early enough tomorrow I might get to sew (haven't done much at all in the last two weeks so kind of going into withdrawal) :)

Drive safe and good luck to the kids!

Alfalfa in the bud stage here. Our early warm weather forced quick growth, now the cool and wet has slowed it down. Think it's going to be stemmy, too. Local coop does a 'Scissors cut' test about every week. Our pealage (that's what we call it) and hay crops seem to be timed about the same as yours QE. But then weather always skews the dates.

Darn that weather!!! ... you'd think with all this technology we could get it under control ... rain on this field and that, but not on these fields! :)

GGal, our early strawberries were hit by a frost, so have not had any yet. Our Thornless dew berries are putting on full bloom and it is not the 4th of July yet. A handful of peas are blooming, and some tomato plants.
