Oh my head is spinning with all these ideas! In the area under the tree I did plant hostas and a couple of coral bells as well as two creeping phlox in the corner. Between the hostas and the potty chair are 3 mums which hopefully will bloom this fall. MGlories on a trellis on the backside of the tree where the old door is now would be a great, too. I have to be careful what I plant near the electric poles. REC gets a little testy about landscaping around them. That's where Honchey's door idea would work great as it would be easily removed for any maintenance work, plus camouflage the meter and box unit.
Thanks all--Know I can count on you guys.

**POP!!!!!!**

Being that some of you said I should POP in, I thought I'd better! :)

All is good ... signage is ready, and my back entrance room has all the outbound butter things congregated. We load the trailer on Sat/Sun, though not leave til Wed. Just that the timing works better that way. Plus it'll give us a few days before we leave to get other things organized ... like clothes washed and packed, some food to take (no refrig, so mostly munchies, drinks that we can ice, etc.) For the next month, I say I live out of my truck ... though I will get home some in between. It'll be 2 days for set up, then we're into the show. I am usually there 2 or 3 days, then home a day or two and back again. I've learned to stock my truck with lots of clothes, as sometimes I think i"ll get home and then things change and I don't! I have ben known to have to get clothes out of the truck when I dress at home. And of course, laundry when I am back here. :)

QNSue's Buffalo Chip Cookies ........ well, if you cowgirls have not yet made them, you really MUST! Of course, QNSue, would not steer us wrong !! I made them today, and they were absolutely delicious. I can see so many different variations of the add ins. If you make the whole recipe, you'd better have one massive mixing bowl. I made 1/4 recipe and got 72 small'ish cookies, using the Pampered Chef Small Scoop, about 1 tbsp.

OKSGlad ... never a dull moment on the farm! I must say I don't miss the middle of night get up and chase the cows. Didn't happen often, but too scary when it did ... for fear of road-hits! Looks like you are busy with LOTS of company, yet again. Hope you have fun with the PPing lessons! Maybe you'll have a new PC recruit to join us later? And not that you don't have enough to do, and you decide to put in a new flower bed before company! Some good ideas evolving there!!! Get it ready for next year. Does that tree have a branch out the other side of the bed? I think there needs to be a swing there! :)

QuiltE....so nice of you to pop in. I've missed your 2 cents worth....which is always worth a whole lot more. Have fun at the show. Just how far from home is it and how long will it last? No wonder you're not sewing!
