Carrie...wonderful job of BF and such a nice preview of the sashing. It really is nice to have that as you go along since it does make the color selections for the fabric in each block easier.

CarrieM ... it'll work out fine. Start by sashing them up as they coordinate best now. Then as you go, you'll see which quilt needs more blocks to keep the balance, and will choose your fabrics accordingly. We're only at the 1/3 marker, so lots of time to get that balance back!

carriem, your block is beautiful!! Lovely colors. Nice seeing the sashing and cornerstones, they'll look great!!

Oh Fryguy.....I hurt for you. These animals are our family and to have had one that long makes him so much more than "a pet". I wish you the best with the outcome. I really like your blocks, too......The colors in the first one is so pretty and the horses perfectly placed in the second.......

grannyQ--I'm such a sucker for blue--but these are just gorgeous. Welcome aboard the PC Train.
|
More pretty blocks Grannie Q! Good contrast...I too would be interested in knowing how many blues and creams you have chosen to use...or if you are still picking?
|
GrannyQ...what beautiful blocks. Your work looks impeccable.
|
Nice blocks and welcome to our little group, GrannyQ. I made my first blue and white/neutral quilt this year( for a DGD that loves water).....from swap blocks....it turned out really pretty.....I then decided that I really like the blue and white look....:)
