Here are my blocks 79 and 80. It is getting harder and harder to come up with unique scrappy fabrics from my stash.

You quilters have really done an outstanding job this week. I thought block 79 Silver Lane was tough. I like the way Deranged Damsel arranged your fabrics in Silver Lane. Honchey, Jan RN, Weezie, Quilting Nina Sue all have beautiful blocks too.

My it has been a fast week - but then I'm on countdown. 16 more school days left :) !! Lovely blocks ladies. 40 weeks & I'm still very much enjoying this project.

We are all making the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt by Laurie Aaron Hird. You can join in if you wish, we make two blocks every week and are up to blocks 79 and 80 (there are 111). You must have the book for the patterns though. Hope this has helped.. |

I know this is off-topic - but to my quilting family on this journey, I'll be taking a short break. My dear husband passed away suddenly & quite unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. Will be back when the dust settles and I really need something comforting to help me keep my sanity.

Yay!! It's Christmas vacation! Today is my first day off...and I'm quilting. All day. Every day I can all through break. Of course, FW is my priority. I have about 21 more blocks to go. I'm hoping to get 15 done by Jan. 9. I'm being very conservative because I have other fun stuff too!
I loved looking through all of your blocks to help me decide what fabrics to use. As you can see Jeanne that I loved you color selection too! Here are the two I finished today, so far. |
