Hi, again! Lots of pretty blocks already. "Swallow" is odd, but "Tall Pine Tree" is even more odd. I don't like it. Here are mine:

I keep on looking at tall pine and find that if you used three different fabrics 1. tree trunks, 2. tree tops, 3. background.. it would have appeared to be more balanced, like looking in the forest. but with the two fabrics it's..to me...out of balance. I only did the two fabric block and I'm sorry I didn't use a different fabric for the tree trunks. I'm not changing it. Anne

I changed the pine tree, I didnt like it AT ALL the way it was.

I agree about Pine Tree so that's why I used 3 colors-the tree stood out. Still don't "get" swallow block.

These blocks are beautiful! The colors everyone chose are great.

Hi JanRN, The "Swallow" is a bird and if you step away and look at the block from a distance the "bird" image apears to be at a downward angle.
