Block # 93 Swallow

1. Light T # 5 Cut one 3-1/2" square

2. Light T # 7 Cut two strips 2-3/8 " x 8" ..then cut every 2-3/8" to get six squares. Take 4 squares and mark a line diagonally set these aside. Cut the remaining two squares in half diagonally.

3. Dark T # 7 Cut a strip 2-3/8" x 10-1/2" then cut every 2-3/8" to get four squares. Place the four squares from step 2 right sides together with the four squares from this step. Sew a scant 1/4" seam on both sides of the marked line...then cut on the line. press seam open then press again.

4.Dark T # 76 Cut a strip 1-1/4" x 4" use the template to cut the correct angle.

5.Dark T # 76R Repeat step 4.

5. Dark T # 4 Cut two 2" squares.

6. Dark T # 102 Cut one 1-1/4" square.

Steps 1-4 Cut 2-3/4" 9" strips for each step ..then use the templates to cut the correct angles.



5. Cut four 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangles.
