5 pages in and it's only January 3rd! Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. I'm already looking forward to whatever block we're making in February. :)

That was a challenge but got it done after alot of pick outs.
Mine is 30s fabric but used 4 prints not 8. Cant post a pic cause my camera decided not to have anything to do with my USB port, so cant download pics. |
You guys are fast!! I have not even started yet. Still have company here until the weekend so this will have to wait until next week for me :) I think I might do 3 colors as well...I really like the more organized look. This will be a definite challenge for me...paper piecing is pretty new to me ( just started to learn that technique last year) and I have not attempted a y-seam. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I am preparing myself mentally for some ripping and re-sewing LOL

Looks like a challenging block.

The blocks are all so different and pretty! Yum! Here is what I did for my January block. I think I may just make myself a girlie lap quilt! Go figure! For me! LOL!

I decided to also join you all this year. Great practice in relearning how to do Y seams!!! So many different colors and they all look so good. Now we are all waiting for February to see what our next relearning curve may be.

here is my January Blocks...I did find it challenging . Hardest part was sew the correct two colored Traps together with correct color combo. I printed the rotary cutting instructions from my Electric Quilt program and then followed the instructions given by Quilterscache. thank you SulaBug for the challenge :)
