QB Block-of-the-Month, March 2013 - Lucky Clover Photos

This is my rendition of the block.

Patrice............Love your March 2013 block & the color's you have put together. They play so nice with each other. I am sticking to my purple & pink theme, with floral's. Can't wait to show everyone!!

Templates not my favorite thing to do but I will give it a try. But I am having fun with the blocks.

March 2013 BOM

This is my block, keeping with the same color scheme through out this quilt. I'll be QAYG'ing this years, but haven't started the quilting yet. I'm still working on another BOM from my guild, and I'm QAYG. I'll be using black sashing, but a white and black background. To much black shows to many of my dogs (3) and cat (1) hair.

WOW!! :D Everyone is so fast with their March block's so far & they are all beautiful, too. I have finished my block & am sharing a picture of it & then a picture of all three of my blocks together. I love this pattern & can hardly wait until April!! I chose to use the solid square for the center.

These are all so pretty! We have been remodeling but are close to done and then I can get back to sewing! I was chief executive design decision maker...

Love everyone's quick efforts. I am still playing catch-up with other projects but really like the idea of using coordinating fabrics for all the blocks. I may have to wait for another month but then I can play catch up and get them all done in one fell swoop...fingers crossed. Thanks for pics...everyone!

Mine is done...I took the easy way out and did 1/2 square triangles..I really like this block design..

I chose to use the 12" pattern that does not include the set in seams... been there...done that... not a happy camper... So happy that I have this block completed in my colours that I will be using throughout the year. Thanks everyone for your pictures & for those who have chosen the blocks. Sulabug your blocks are so pretty, you're going to have a gorgeous quilt! I love how you used two colors for your heart background. Do you think you'll be using sashing?

Roma, I love the red white and blue! and I really like the black and white with the green. I am rethinking my splash of color, as i am doing a black and white themed quilt, I might just change my splash of color every month, after all each month does have it's own color, well in my mind it does! LOL Now I am going to go and play with this block to see how I can add a touch of Green for March!

Marytoddliz..........I Love your idea of changing your slpash of color for each month. What a great idea & I will be anxiously waiting to see your March 2013 block when it's all done!! You are going to have a spectacular quilt by the end of the year.

Hello everyone... :) I am finally caught up... here are the pictures of my Jan, Feb, and March Blocks. I had a lot of fun making them. I did not end up doing in PP.. I used the templates and Kicked those Y-seams ... Im feeling pretty good about Y-seams now. I am thinking of redoing March because it came exactly 12 sq" so I dont have my 1/4" seam like the others. :thumbup: Have an awesome day .. Ya all. !!

Thank you all for you wonderful comments.. here is my second attempt at the March BOM. I like this one even better. I will still try to work the first one into the quilt though..because it has its own charm.. Ha Ha. :D
