Directions. Make 4 4 1/2 inch HST. Next, cut strips 1 3/4 inch by I dunno...20 inches? Yes, there is where my math went wonk. Guessing the strips should have been 2 inches, I digress. Make the 9-patch and trim to 4 inches if needed. Sew a 1 1/2 inch strip to the two corner sides and then trim it all down to equal 4 1/2 inches. Make the center windmill with 2 1/2 inch HST. Assemble as shown with the top left and bottom right nine-patch units color strip facing inward and opposing corners color strips facing outward.

Gosh I hope that made some sense!

Oh and here she has grown by 3 blocks.

Made the Corn and Beans (upper left), Card Trick (upper center), and Contrary Ex Wife (center right). Not colors I would ever normally choose, but I like it!

Here are my Balkan Puzzle and Bridal Path. I tried the Interwoven Puzzle but it turned out awful. I may try it again to see if I can do better. :)

I just started on this a couple of days ago! I was watching this thread and decided to join the Quilting Board! I have the first two blocks done! I'll try and get a picture of it up soon! Everyone's looks great so far!

It's interesting how different your Balkan Puzzle is than mine. Yours looks like a spinning wheel.

Tess, they look great. The Balkan puzzle looks different because Designs used 4 colors and not 3. I did the same with my Balkan Puzzle:

Here is my Bridal path block...I am NOT happy with the green/purple fabric. Oh well I will have to hide it somewhere in there since I am the fabric miser here, cover your eyes....

Looking great ladies. Got distracted waiting for blocks with my sewing ADHD and started the 4-patch x's and o's from the tutorial at Missouri Star. Wow is it colorful! Also went with white for the x's...I believe I have become a white convert. Provided our house holds out with this upcoming storm, I guess I will do the next 2 blocks on the list. Happy sewing!

I am far behind I think ! tomorrow a block more for the week and other projects call once again. Here is the only photo I have no camera so had to beg to get this one. its a start.. think by the time this is finished we will surely have enough to pick and chose to make lovely quilts and hope everyone posts theirs cool if then we could get them somehow on one page you know or a folder that has all the pictures in one spot of finished works of art :)Attachment 391675
