Sheri, Those are wonderful quilts and a perfect way to tie the generations and quilts together. I love the fact that the all of the quilts are the same but different.

And yes there are some of us who still check this thread. Looking forward to the rest of your finishes!:)

Sheri, I love them all!! Can't wait to see the rest.

Sheri, what a sweet, generous, caring person you are to make such meaningful quilts for your family. Well done!

Yes, this thread still pops up. Love the quilts that have been done and amazed that several folks have done more than one. Retirement hasn't been retirement for me. It will be awhile before I can actually do another mystery train, but I like to ride along and see all the pretties!

Wonderful use of all those tiny HST.

Sheri, your latest quilts are just as lovely as the previous ones. Your mother-in-law is a lucky lady to have you as a daughter! She she get two quilts? I love your "waste triangles" quilt and now have an idea of what to do with all of mine.

Ditto all of the above, Sheri. Great job.

Oh....you ladies are all so sweet. You have been my inspiration here!! I deeply thank you for that. You give me tears.

I actually went to Idaho the first of July for my stepfather's funeral. He was so good to my mom. My trip was only scheduled for four days, two to travel and one for funeral business and one to visit family. The Friday I went to visit I walked into my Inlaws house and found my FatherInLaw sick from breaking his shoulder. MotherInLaw in tears from the weariness of caring for him. Needless to say, I stayed the help. My FatherInLaw deteriorated before my eyes and passed the following Friday. I believe God works in mysterious ways and I was meant to be there at that time. I still call my sweet MotherInLaw each day and give her updates and send pictures of each quilt progress.

I shared my Grandma Triangle here: :D
