I have been reading and sewing all along on this train ride and have enjoyed every minute. I haven't taken any pics at this point. It has been fun to view everyones fabric choices and progress, step by step. I am ready for the next step on May 9th. I am so glad I found QB and signed on as a member and a passenger on this train. Thanks to everyone.

I sure had my fun with this. And half the fun is seeing how people interpret things, material, ideas, etc. And how something that seems so simple can look so different, one from another. I love every bit of it.

montiealma glad you are enjoying the ride. This mystery is now complete so, if you've been following along, you can finish up with borders or extra blocks or however you want. We'd love to see pics of your version.

May 9 is the date we all start on a completely new mystery. Hope you join the fun again.

And welcome to the board.

This was my first mystery quilt and I too learned a lot. Never had made flying geese before, nor pinwheels. It was a great ride, and the added fun of being on a train that could stop wherever it needed to, and with a very active club car, made it all the better. I have my thumb out to catch the next ride. (Do trains stop for hitchhikers? :) Bet this one does.) Again, thank you so much, Judy.

It is bad sport to lay out your squares in any order until the project is revealed, Im doing a mystery on another board and everyone started posting pics of there squares laid out in all manners.. other peeps got offended. Im not one to want to offend so I will defer from doing this in any mystery quilt project again. And I realized I had done it here on this thread also. Im sorry. But as for the rest all I have to say is................................ IS IT May 9th yet... lol I cant wait for the next train to leave the station.. Ha ha.. Hugs everyone..

I don't think it is bad sport. Some groups have a separate thread or area for those who want to make guesses. That way anyone who doesn't want to see, doesn't have to look. I don't mind their guesses because they are usually wrong anyway. I love following the discussion. It makes me feel like I am not alone all of the time.

It isn't May 9th yet, but it is the 1st! It is getting closer for you.

Oh, I'm not patiently waiting for May 9th. Have found some great fabrics downstairs and now I really want to start something new. Just because the last mystery is sitting here looking at me, means nothing. Can't come up with a quilt design yet.

Need the club car today. So it must be 5:00 somewhere and I'll start down to the club with a couple bottles of wine that we purchased from a silent auction at the woodturner's workshop. Still have snacks also.

See you soon.

Im right behind you Everose with Biscuits and Cheese to go with the wine. A good day for some chatter among friends. :) :) :)

Oh, is that chocolate wine? If not, will have husband grab a couple bottles while he is out of town. That makes it even better, tastes so good you don't realize you drank the whole bottle.

I am guilty ladies. Mine is all cut up and waiting for me to sew. I did not share any photos, not many comments, but loved the chatter and enjoyed the fun you had. I was the wall flower. I will work hard to get mine done because was using this for a lap quilt for graduation present for nephew. When all the big fun was happening, I was making a western diamond split star quilt for sil. Used those fabric leftover for this one. Will do my best to sew sew sew and get it posted.

Guess I had better get busy and finish mine before the next train leaves the station.
