yikes, I am behind for May's BOM too... I haven't even attempted to download or print it yet. Maybe I'll try to squeeze it in this weekend. Everyone's blocks look wonderful.

Jaba, your block looks great! There are lots of tuts on the internet on paper piecing, did you have a look already?
I always print the design 5 times, one I use as templates so I don't waist a lot of fabric.

Thanks Anael. I have looked and tried and tried. Maybe the template idea would work....seems like I sew the piece on and then when I flip it over it's always to short or cut off somewhere. Just frustrating to me, seems like a lot of wasted fabric

I am in the same boat as you are Jaba. I am still having a hard time wrapping my brain around paper piecing. But I like the precision and challenge of the process. I am going to use Anael's template idea, thanks Anael.

You're welcome jaba and Caroline. When I started pp I had a hard time too, it's like mirror thinking. Sometimes I still get it wrong. With the templates you have to keep in mind which side of the fabric should be up otherwise you'll end up with a piece you can't use. With lots of pieces I make a list and write down how many pieces and how to cut them (reversed or not)
