OK everyone...here they are, our blocks for the next week. Remember that next week is a catch up with for those who need to, well...catch up or for those just joining us. I will be posting bonus blocks for those who want to do them, but they will involve either paper piecing or cutting a template. Even if you don't choose to make the blocks I would definitely check them out since we will start to get into some PP or using a template in future blocks. Ok, well what you have all been waiting for....

Here is the easy block, for those who are looking at it going NO WAY....you guys have already done the technique so don't run screaming, just read the instructions once, twice...as many as you need...

Enjoy ladies, see you in the AM.

That challenge block is gorgeous! Haven't done any of them yet but that one just reached out and grabbed me. Lol. May have to give it a try when I get home.

I have to say Mom, there are some great gals offering up suggestions for blocks. I still have to work on week 2 and now this week. Hopefully tomorrow I will pull myself away from my Storm at Sea/Snails Trail variation long enough to work up 2 of the blocks.

Love your block. I will only be able to do this one as well no printer no templates. unless someone has a good idea. And veto vote for paper piecing. its not fun. lol. guess I will have to pray at least oneblock a week is pieced only with no templates needed. darn it ! I have a rotten flu right now so wont get to this til maybe tomorrow. just popped in to see what there was to look forward to. I will do an alternate hard black at least two or three of those difficulty marks from quilters cache or another book I have 501quilt blocks. can fill in the pieces this way and still chat with ya all!

I finished one and have the other cut out. Will piece all those tomorrow. I'll have time now since Denver lost, bummer!

Elisabrat, I have to go to the office and print out the directions/templates. You can save the pattern to a thumb drive and take it to the library or a print shop, like Kinko's, and print it out I bet!

Jaba pretty block! probably my favorite of yours so far. I live in a tiny itty bitty town. there are no copy shops, fabric stores and right now the library is snowed in. good idea though (my tiny town has 125 residents half are turkeys the kind with wings). going to make my block today and will share later on. feeling up and up for now better get cracking before things go south.

Thanks Brat, had to come up with another color so naturally purple you know. Just printed off the template for you and will stick it in the mail tomorrow. From now on when there is one I'll just do that so you have it. You'll just have to wait 4 or 5 days until mail gets there.
