This week I did both blocks, here is The House That Jack Built. This one had templates, which I don't care for and I was too lazy to go out to the printer to print them. So, I cut strips 1-3/4 x 18 for each of the three colors, sewed the strips together, then cut them to 4-1/4 length. Much easier!

update
Got mine done today, yahoo I am caught up now[ATTACH=CONFIG]397453[/ATTACH]I had last weeks to get done also which I did but had not posted so just took 1 pic. The last row are the 4 I needed to do.

Yeah Friday afternoon and my working week is almost over, it is raining and dose not look like it is going to stop for the weekend so I hope I can get some sewing done and try to catch up on some blocks.

I feel like I am among the living again. My hip is doing well and have built up my endurance to allow me to sew and get out when I can catch a ride with someone. Love my new machine and will be going to an applicae class tomorrow. Printing the blocks out but well start over on making them. Have dropped out of the reason I was using a specific color so now want to make them acording to my likes and dislikes. Love all the pictures.

Another one bites the dust!

I know that I am a little behind, but I did manage to get a quilted mat done for my DD's puppy this week. Getting much better with flying geese. Ready for more! Planning on doing Aunt Dinah tomorrow, in the same print, but white instead of Black.
I am going to use these block to start learning the quilt as you go method. I will post a picture of the group of blocks tomorrow.
