PS Where in TX is Lakehills? Nowhere near Midland, I know 'cause Midland isn't close ta anywhere else. Except Odessa, our sister city.
Thank you dubib. I'll check it out & see if I can add a post.

Lakehills (aka Pipe Creek) is about 20 miles NE of San Antonio. We live about a block from Medina Lake. We have been in a drought for a couple of years so our beautiful lake is down about 75 ft.

If anyone has made fabric choices yet, I would love to see them. I think I might need some help in choosing. I intend to do it all from my stash as I am on a moratorium from buying any new fabrics unless I absolutely need it to finish a project. For example, today I needed to order border fabric for a quilt I'm working on because I was not going to put a border on it but changed my mind. I consider that a necessity. I'm sure you all would agree with me on that. So... show me your fabrics, please.

This sounds like fun. I will look in to purchasing the book and possibly joining in Sept.

Hi LindaC...just wanted to let you know that I'm going to use the block you made for me in the Boomerang Swap into a pillow...It is so unique it has to stand alone front and center. Honchey

Here's the fabric I'm using for Quilts for Rosie. I may use a few more from my stash as I run across them.

Patricia Faye, I love your fabric choices. Should be a remarkable quilt. I thought my book would get here today, but it didn't. I guess until I actually look at the patterns and compare to my stash, don't know what I'll be using. I know it will be scrappy and I've never done paper piecing, so it should be interesting.
