Jan...your quilt is BEAUTIFUL! Such a balance of color and design. Well done.
Jan, I just love all the batik's you used in Rosie! What a marvelous quilt! I love it!
"You have enough quilts made when your soul is filled, your creativity satisfied and your fingers just won't work anymore."
Jan! Your quilt is lovely! I loved seeing your blocks as you posted them, but altogether they are wonderful!
Judith
Thank you all so much for your kind comments. You were all so encouraging while we worked together on these blocks. I still don't have it quilted. My Sweet16 is in my sun porch and since we haven't seen any sun around here in over a month I haven't worked out there. Until I purchase a couple of lamps (or the sun ever comes out) quilting is on hold.
Thank you all again for the compliments.
I pray for peace today and hope I don't have to tomorrow.
Jan, gorgeous!
A balanced quilter is one with a project on each finger
Eat, quilt, sleep, repeat
Nobody is completely useless, you can always serve as a bad example
Patti has been working on the last of her Rosie blocks and I finally got to her house to take the pictures of all of the blocks. Patti has been slowly moving her sewing space to another room in her home and what a difference the new space will make! Patti and I liked the idea of taking pictures with ourselves and our quilts when they get finished. Patricia Faye and Almond are wonderful examples! Thanks, girls! Here are Patti's latest pictures.
Judith
Judith, Patti's blocks are beautiful & are going to make a beautiful quilt. Yes, be sure to take a picture of yourselves with your quilts. We want to see both!
You can come help me in my sewing room?
Patricia Faye
What bright cheerful blocks! Patti did a great job choosing colors.
I pray for peace today and hope I don't have to tomorrow.
