I had never pre-cut my fabrics when doing pp. I just "hacked & wacked". I do like precutting for these larger blocks, probably won't do it for smaller ones. I learned something new here-thank you.

Jan--I have gone through and measured/precut fabrics for most of my PC blocks too. I guess I just like having them in an envelope to grab when I am ready to sew. However for some of those odd triangles, the "hack and wack" job would be easier as I can't always figure out which direction to measure and get them the right size!

I really like that this author had the measurements figured! Makes life much easier.

I always leave about 1/8th of paper on the edges over the cutting line and when cutting pieces for the sections I always cut at least 1/3rd" larger all around.

Hi

Here is my 5th block I'm running a bit later this week, although I am in front with the blocks, I didn't have the photos taken. This what happen when you get busy playing with the grandchildren.
Every one block are looking great I can't wait to see the finish quilts.
