Default Block #11

I have to confess I am finished. But I took photos of each block before I put them together. Anyone else done?

Hi All

i'm finaly back in the swing off sewing and was able to get a couple off blocks done this weekend. And ort out the coulours for the final 5 docks. This week I will be able to sit down and cut out the material for them and then back to the sewing (the fun part).

Here is my 12th block and 2 other pictures of blocks up to 12 and the block that I have finished. They will have a yellow border around each block and all other blocks will be white and then the boarder around the whole quilt will be black. Well thats was what I was thinking when I started and up to now, may be it might change when finished.

I love your blocks and the colors are great. I have the fabric that is in the center of your block 12. I've had it for some time and I think I will use it with a navy blue in some quilt pattern, as yet to be determined. I'm always surprised to see some of the same fabrics that I have bought in someone else's quilt. It kind of reaffirms that I'm a "real" quilter when I see it. Or that I have good taste in quilt fabric. lol

Purl & Lyn, love your blocks. Everyone continues to do a great job on them. Here are my blocks Return of the Swallows that I was going to post tomorrow, but have lots of errands to run tomorrow & won't be around for most of the day. The geese don't quite match the directions they were suppose to go but there was no way I was going to redo them!

Look forward to seeing everyone's blocks too.

I'm finally getting caught up with posting. I love all your blocks. Purl, that black background really makes your blocks pop. Lyn, you're opening my eyes to a new color combo--love the yellows, greys, and blacks. PatriciaFaye, I'm amazed at your blocks--you've nailed the spirit of Rosie.
Here are my blocks in batiks which I'm going to make the rest to finish the quilt. I decided to make a smaller quilt with my Christmas blocks. It looks like an odd size but it drapes perfectly across the back of my couch. Now, can I get it quilted before Christmas?
