meanmom, great solution for the back to match the front!

Mom6 - way to go!

And to everyone who is so supportive of my mysteries, I truly thank you. You make all the work involved worth while. I finally have the next one drafted on paper, just need to get my lazy butt in gear, do the match, start to make the thingie and do the photographs.

See ya later, gaters!
Well, I would be happy to put together files for you for future mysteries, if you want to send me the instructions & photos (Don't worry, I would keep the secret until after the final reveal!!)

Welcome to the Valley! I *LOVE* SAS, and they are a HUGE reason that I have so much fabric! One thing you must learn about that store: if a fabric catches your eye, put it in your basket *immediately*, because you will never find it again...

I was talked in to donating my quilt to the school carnival. Just need to finish it. I also have another quilt to quilt that I am going to give to a co-worker for a dialysis quilt. I need to get my butt in gear and get moving so I can do the next mystery. I need to use up my stash. I have tons of fabric that just isn't me. SOme was given to me, some is from yard sales. I use it for donation quilts. I am a batik kind of girl. That is pretty much all I use any more. Not sure I have time to use it all up in this lifetime. I am trying to not buy any fabric.

fabric by the pound? now that is a unique concept. I think it would be easy to get a few more pounds than you intended because well how much does a yard weight? like soon that stack would be pretty expensive. but your now making to check out see if they have a web site. curiosity and all.

March 2nd I am ready to go. I will also try to use only stash. The third mystery I had to buy one yard but that is not much all things considered. I know this.. it will not be a pink quilt. blick. so sick of pink from the last one. maybe earth tones need a couple quilts in those colors... this is going to be fun. I already know it Judy does such a good job at keeping us going no idea where we are and we all paddle along nicely behind her and TADA its always great at the end. the mystery helps me do things I might not otherwise do and she makes them simple enough everyone can play. Bravo Judy. ps hope you had a smashing trip. was waiting to see pics of you and the pool boy.. sure hope you took a couple.

They don't have a website, and not all of it is by the pound. The quilting cottons are usually $4/yd, but if it has a defect (I have a piece of black print that was sliced every 12 inches or so), then it is by the pound.
