May 9? Are we ready for a new ride? Any shopping ideas? You have a loyal group, Judy. It must be very satisfying to see what you have inspired! We really appreciate the creative nudge.

Is it possible to get the pattern and instructions for this without going to each of the posts? Just wondering if it could be posted all together? Hint Hint.

I am so sorry I missed the ride! I found y'all after the train pulled into the station. I love how all your blocks/toppers turned out and am looking forward to the next fun ride.

I enjoyed my first ride on the Mystery Train. Can't wait until May 9. I will post pic when this is totally finished.
That is so cute, love the prints. I hope you do another border with the animals because it's so cute.

Sustraly, love it -- just perfect for a baby's jungle theme. I have to make a baby quilt for my daughter's BBF and she wanted Lion King theme. But there is no Lion King fabric out there. Sent her a pix of your quilt, to show what we can do with just using jungle prints. I have a panel about a 16" square of just a lion laying down next to his mate that the borders could work around.

Nurse76, on the morning of May9th, go to the Blocks of the Week and Month section and you will find it under the title A New MYSTERY QUILT Train Ride! Hop on-board anytime.

Dotty, yes, it is very satisfying to see all my hard work (in trying to make this all fit together) has worked out, and that so many of you have enjoyed the mystery quilt. I really have had a lot of fun. Had never even tried to do a mystery before, afraid of buying so much material and hating the results -- so many of the mystery quilts make big quilts -- so I wanted a project that could be small but expanded.

Sunlite, that is what I was going to post, too. It would be too time consuming to go back and start a new thread -- redoing it all and adding in the pictures. Maybe you could post that with a picture of your square in some other section of the QB in case anyone else is interested making a square. And so glad you had a good time, you have been a fabulous cheerleader on this train!

Evie, no reason why you can't just jump in and make a square -- Sunlite posted where you can easily find the steps.

Greetings!!!

Judy, May 9th can't come to fast. But have a great vacation before we start.

My question is what or how is everyone quilting the top? I haven't done a lot of quilting, but don't really want to send it out to someone either. Are you sid or meadering? Would love to see some examples of the finished project.

Have a great day ladies - a wonderful sunshine day here, but if anyone is planning on going to the club car, I could be persuaded to join you.

Hi, Everose - I did a SID using a very small serpentine stitch. I didn't want to detract from the quilt and all the pretty patterns. went along the borders and sashing and the pieces of the senter medallion.
