Sunliten, love the wonky geese. I'm also partial to the green. Now what are you going to use it on?????

Cool here this morning - so I put a fire in the fireplace. Parked Mom by it after I washed and styled her hair. Hubby is putting all the old sunflower stalks in it so the flames are burning high. Me - I'm ready for a nap already.

Going to go over the sewing machine store, check to see if one of my machines is fixed, drop off the other one and look at a new Bernia. Any thoughts ladies???????

I don't have enough of the fabrics to do the geese for my Halloween version of the mystery because I made two blocks. So, I have finished it as a top and just need to make my zero calorie sandwich and quilt it.
This is the finished top:

The sashing is black fabric with pale purple and green spider webs:

And the backing will be the black cartoon hearse fabric. Binding will be basic black.
I'm quite happy with it.

Well, I had a whole page of things said - now they are somewhere, but not on this page. Darn - wish I would find all those thoughts.

works4me - awesome. You love Halloween like I love Christmas. The black cars are fab. What fun colors.

It's my lucky day. Got both of my machines back. The Kenmore only cost $60 for servicing and the other one he just tightened a screw and didn't charge me anything. Walked out feeling good. Now I feel like I can tackle those geese.

Lady showed my a Bernina 330. Wasn't comfortable with cost - could buy a lot of fabric instead. So I'll continue looking. The reason I like store is because I purchased my Bernette there I get a 25% discount on all tools, assessories and a reduced price of fabric. So over the year it adds up.

The man across the street is planting flowers. It is 47` and a 50 mile an hour wind. I think I will stay inside by the fire. Maybe even put the feet up and think about the next quilt project.

Take care ladies - HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!!!

As for me, I finished sewing together all of my geese blocks today & will post a picture tomorrow for all to see. I have had so much fun with this Mystery Train ride & can't wait for the next clue. I wonder what it could be??????
