Hi,Debbie. I haven't been on this board for a while. Had problems following the new format when admin changed a few yrs back. How are you? I still pray for you.
Just seeing if I still know how to post a picture.
That was the doll quilt I made for June.
Ok so I can do this....success.
Thinking of you and your Mom. Would you believe I had unscheduled surgery this week too! What is it with these medical people and us quilters........not really, we need their help to get us back on our feet and into the stitching mood once again. I have four Project Linus quilt tops waiting to be sandwiched and quilted. Hope my next week is better than this one has been for me. You guys take care - I do not see anything in your blog and I assume this is the only place you post anymore--not that you do not have your hands full right now!
I will have your mom in my thoughts and prayers.
Will be thinking of your mother's surgery tomorrow. Keep the faith and all will turn out like it is supposed to.
Hey there Debbie. Thank you for the acknowledgment. I subscribed to your blog---I think! Not sure where it will come up each time but at least it is a start. Take care and I am keeping my finger crossed for both you and your Mom's up-coming operations.
Hey there Deb - it is so hard for me to find and follow you. Each time I come back on Board, I have lost you once again. You certainly have had a bad turn of events all the way around. My best wishes to your family members who need it most. Keeping positive is the only way to go and when you get down, a sewing machine visit is always in order. Take care. A fellow Project Linus blanketeer is thinking about you.
Hi Debbie , Jan and All Thumbs,
I also hope that Debbie is doing well . Debbie ,if You are reading this I want you to know that I am praying for You and your elbow, for swift and complete healing. You may not be able to type while your arm is healing so I would like to call and talk to You . If anyone reading this has Debbie's number please call Her and ask if it is ok for You to give me Her number so We can talk .
I am trying to find my way around the new board too . If I had more time to spend here it would be a quicker process.....lol
Ruthie is doing well. She is growing like a weed and getting smarter by the minute. She is like a learning sponge. Her vocabulary grows by leaps and bounds . I am so very Proud of Her and also Of our School System . They are doing so much for our Little One.
Peace to You and Yours......Alice

Hi Jan - good to see a familiar face from the old Board. Like you, I am looking and looking to find my way around this new look. Evidentally, Debbie has had an operation again as I do not see many entries from her either. Best Wishes Debbie for a speedy recovery!

All thumbs.......I know what you mean. Our donations are so bad we are under half of what we usually provide and the hospitals and everyone are wanting and needing more. Hope it picks up. Now that the holidays are gone, maybe I can get back to making more too. Glad you popped in. Talk to you soon. HUGS♥♥
Well hello there Debbie! I do not visit the Board as often as I used to but now that 2012 is finally here, I am going to try harder at learning all the ins and outs of the new format. Glad to have found your post once again. I also see yours from back at New Years Day so must catch up with your happenings. Today I am stitching away while dear hubby reads (also the name of my album I am creating) and having fun with some new things. Project Linus quilts are needed since the holidays and economy have taken our donation numbers way down. A quilting friend and I are delivering 8 to coordinator this week and I have 3 more on the burner half done. lol
Think of you often -- do take care.
Hi there you two. yesterday was a long day. Today I am off to Ft. Worth with dd and possibley dh if he decides he wants to get out a while.
I'll check back this evening.
Glad you two got together. It is kind of quiet here. Still coughing so not going out much. DH is at work.
I have been making pulp from persimmons all week. I'll have to make some fresh cookies and send them to you. I know the delay in shipping made the others.......not fresh!
Glad that you and Joanie had a good afternoon. Pulled pork sounds good.
Kitties will want to stay warm tonight.
One of granddaughters was here for a few hour. Taught her to play Farkel and weplayed for hours. Last game she brought the score sheet home to show parents. Ihardly could get on the score sheet and she got many triples etc. She got over10,000 and Nana was something like 2,000. I know that the ten year old had agrand time telling the parents about this!
Hope that you have a good evening.
Saying hello to all your visitors on the QB.
Zipit - Hope you had a good new year's. We went to friends and played cardsand games. I won 6 gifts and love them all. It was fun to be on the recieving end. USually I do it for retreats and I had fun picking my prizes. I won a red mug with a cute lady buy holder to hold tea bags. A rred snowman bowl with a snowman in the center, a beautiful ceramic fish to put a plant in, and a few other things. I'll have to look. DH won some.
All I did today was vacuum and clean out the fridge from all the left overs. Duke had a ball eating it all.
The cats are all fine. Bella is still sleeping a lot but her stitches were prettier than Annabelle's. Annabelle went out today and was back in twenty minutes at my window. Abby Notail is really being feisty. She is chasing them and causing havoc. She's not getting any catnip for a while. LOL.
Then I finished a book and started another.
I am so excited about seeing the elbow doctor this week. Hope he does surgery really fast so I can sew at the march retreat and May too. I'll update everyone on the March retreat this week too. Suggestions????
Have a great evening.
It has been a very good year with very good friends both new and old. I am looking forward to the retreats as well. I have some of my 'stuff' in my rolly cart ready to go!
Happy New Year to you and all of my QB friends.
All cats are home and doing great. Annabelle, Bella and Tigger are on my bed sleeping. Had to put Notail outside a while because she is jumping all over Tigger and playing rough. Sweet little Notail......so bad...LOL. Everyone have a great evening. I'm off to read and finish a good book.
I just got a call from Cowboy Country Vet and both cats are starting to wake up with no problems or complications. I always tear up when they call....I love my babies. So I go get them at 3:30 and take Annabelle to have her stitches taken out. I could do it...but...it's funny when it is family or our own pets....hurts me too. Good news. Next ones goe January 13th - 3 of them. I'll decide which ones. Thinking Notail, Lil Gal and Pink.
I love that now they have their current shots and blood work and are now fixed.
