Hi Everose! Glad you had a good day. I suspect that your mind is going to that UFO place...where most of us never go! I'm hoping to use some orphan blocks and small UFOs for 9" round mug rugs in abdconsultant's swap.

Hope the rest of the week goes as well!

This is how Winter in Wisconsin always looks for me. We visited there (near Delafield) several times in winter. Loved it!! Great pics, I would have done the same with the camera!!

    Leslie,
I'm sad to hear about your niece's death. How wonderful, though, that you are creating something new in memory of her for someone else who will cherish the gift. Please know I hold you in my prayers. Cathy

Krisb, we are on Trego Lake, which is a "flowage" of the Namekagon River in Washburn County in NW Wisconsin.

I saw some of that video shot in Duluth also. Wild water! They had quite a bit of wind up here. We missed that -- we're a little more than an hour south of Duluth.

Saw the clips of Mike Seidel on the lake walk behind the Canal Park hotels, with the waves crashing and the spray and snow flying through the air, the wind almost blowing home over, and thought, "now, that's a storm". One of our friends back home was just thrilled because he got a new snowblower this year and hadn't had a chance to use it yet. What lake are you on?

You are right! I'll have to work on learning it, at least by May 6 when she'll be installed in Minneapolis. Do you know her?
