    Unless you really like the fabric I might let it go. I have always been told to stick with one fabric say 100% cotton with no blends.

    I love the fall colors! And new sweaters, long pants, boots, all the fun of changing seasons! I admit, the first few yrs in texas i missed the northeastern fall. I love everything about it. Your placemats are beautiful !

    i guess that I'll get out my graph paper . I am not too good a figuring out yardage and such, I would have preferred to just buy a pattern. But I do appreciate your help

    Don't know the name of it, but it would be easy to make. Just break it down into squares - each color is made up of 7 squares/half square triangles. Depending on the size of each square - maybe 2 inch squares - that would determine the size of your finished block. Then decide how many blocks would make the size quilt you want. I would use scraps, or fat quarters. You could probably use jelly rolls too. Hope that helps.
