Though I haven't said so, it is high time I did. I love this board!
The posts are informative; the pictures inspiring; the links are must haves; and I visit here every single day. There aren't many things I do every day, but this is certainly one of them.
My quilting life is very full. Not only am I doing the calendar BOM and the Craftsy BOM, but I'm dabbling in other projects as well.
Last night I finished (well, almost) the hand-quilting on Old Yeller.
Since I have wanted to do a yellow quilt for some time, and I've wanted to teach myself to make stars, I jumped into this project with both feet. I designed a quilt with EQ5 and love how it turned out. This is the result. I know all this yellow isn't for everyone, but I can't wait. I'm going to call this quilt, "Sunshine on my shoulder."
I have finally completed a sample block. There will be 15 of these suckers alternated with simple 9-patches
I'm a board newbie; I have only just arrived here yesterday, but already have found inspiration to begin my next quilting project. After perusing the quilt galleries, I have seen some really beautiful work. I'm still in the thinking phase about just what I want to do. I know it will be yellow, perhaps with white, and some light green. I'm thinking daffodils and Spring, which is only 110 days away. I have a pretty decent collection of fabrics already.
I still consider myself a quilting
