This was just me playing around with textures and patterns. MIL bought this from me for 75 bucks for her granddaughter.

Decided to post some of my work in this blog.

First is my bright backpack. I love this pattern!


The pattern came in a book kit that I bought on clearance at Books a Million for 8 bucks for my son. He made the Ohio Star pillow and was done with sewing.

The purple squares are denim with cotton and the blue squares are sort of a harlequin check, blue on blue. I was unhappy with the blue squares plain so machine appliqued the small squares onto them.
