  1. Finally

    I've finally started work on my cookbook for my fundraising. I hope to have it done in the next week or so. I hope to have them available for order soon.

    Other than that, I managed all C's this semester. It was a hard semester, so I hope that next year I do much better.

    I'm working on a quilt for Matthew, the little boy that I had mention who has cancer. I'll post photos of it when I'm done. I hope that he'll love it, even if he is only eleven months old, I'm sure he ...

    Today, I checked my financial aid status for next school year, and I discovered that I was awarded a $4000 scholarship, my first scholarship in my college career. I am ecstatic! I exited my room and danced around the lounge singing:

    "Oh mommy, oh daddy, I am a big ol' baddy! Oh mommy, oh daddy, I am a big ol' baddy!"

    Yes, I was stared at, but that is alright. Once I was done, I disappeared back into my dorm room.

    Matthew was officially diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Blue Cell Cancer on Wednesday(4/25).

    This is a quote from his father, which I have permission to share:

    "Well we have our answer. It's Desmoplastic small round blue cell tumor. It is an extremely rare (the oncologist says its the type of tumor that should be written about). It is an aggressive form of cancer that usually starts in the abdomen. The fact that he got it in his head and apparently as of now
