I used the Frixion gel pens that disappear when heat is applied. I also use them to trace the turned edge of the appliqué pieces as they come in different colors that are useful for dark fabrics.

OOOHH Can you share the store?? We go to Lafayette every few weeks and I want these clocks!!
Sorry this reply is so late. I'm not positive, but think the store's name was Gretel's. It was a home decor type of store in West Lafayette. Hope this helps!
I have lost all but three Craftsy classes as of yesterday in my account. Have any of you had this trouble? I recently purchased three classes and enrolled in several free ones. I probably had 9-12 classes in my account and all three of the ones I bought are gone plus others. I emailed them but haven't heard back. Any suggestions?
I'm pretty excited. It hasn't arrived yet, but I just purchased a Janome Horizon MC 15000!! It is supposed to do everything you want--embroidery, quilting machine, wireless with an iPad, etc. Does anyone have one? How steep is the learning curve? If anybody has tips, techniques, or suggestions I would love to hear them.
I am in the market for a new sewing chair. I'd like one that is adjustable and with good back and lumbar support as well as being comfortable. Does anyone have some good recommendations?
My mother embroidered a set of vintage tea towels years ago--the kinds that say "Wash Day", "Gardening Day", "Cleaning Day", etc. There are seven of them with one being "Sunday". I want to create some kind of quilt, wall hanging, table runner, etc. from them for display. They are embroidered on white cotton. Any suggestions for a design? I'm pretty new at quilting and the only thing that comes to mind is cutting out the design from the towel and framing
