Just came by to see if blogs are up and working. I think so. I'll figure it out by looking at the others. The only thing I saw was the pages wouldn't change from 1 to 2.

Mom is having her heart surgery the 29th of this month. So now we have a date to go by. And then when she is fully recovered, I'll have my elbow fixed.

My mom needs to have heart surgery and her aortic valve replaced so waiting on date for that.
BIL was admitted to hospital with bleeding in his colon.
But being positive all will work out.

Hello everyone. I have been way to busy.
My elbow is on the back burner for now, still cannot find a surgeon near me.
And my Dear sweet mom is having open heart surgery as soon as we get her scheduled. Replacing her aortic valve. SO sad. But she is so healthy so she will be fine. And all the family will be there.
I am having a quilt retreat March 8,9, 10, same weekend as the Dallas Quilt show. DIdn't plan it that way. I won a half price retreat at Alford
Hello there. Went to town early today and did some shopping. Mainly getting my MIL books to read and picking up meds for me. Apparently I have a rash inj reaction to too many cats in the house. Most of them stay out except for Notail, but with them getting fixed and having stitches, I let them all stay in a few days. Too many at once. I have a rash on my arms and hands. So now Zyrtec, Benydryl and Predisone and a steroid shot is for two weeks. Hopefully won't need it after that. Wow, I hate this
Joanieu just left from visiting. It was fun. We talked about this board and how to navigate here. ALso We discussed our plans for the AOTH project we will be starting soon. We have to figure out how to enlarge it to a 12" block. I want a bigger one. Might use the 10.5.....

It's the new year already. The first day. And on the 29th I will turn 56 and I was born in 1956....A little trivia.
I am excited I found a surgeon so close and hope my elbow isn't so bad he won't do the surgery either. I am ready for no pain and being able to move arm more than 45 degrees.
I wasn't able to log on here all day fro some reason.....maybe it was down a bit.
Today was so nice. I did some cleaning and then reorganizing, and finished a book I started and started yet

I look back at all the retreats with members attending and the quilt shows we met at. the gatherings for members, meeting board members, and what great memories we made. Next year will be as good too.

Hope the New year starts off another great quilting year for us. It is looking good so far. The new year will start off for me trying to get my left elbow replaced so I can get back to sewing. It's amazing how not one of hte referrals has called me back yet. So in the new year I will be on the phone myself.
