Help I done a silly thing

I was doing some transfers of pictures onto fabric with the iron and had a thick towel under, but my cutting board was under the towel. Now I have a section on the edge of the cutting board right in the middle of the edge that is I guess you call it warped with the heat. Is there anyway that I can reverse this or have I stuffed it up completely . I can still use the board but I have to be careful if I am cutting bigger pieces of fabric. Any suggestions please, besides telling my I am a silly girl.*
