As you can see, I added a strip and a piano keys border to two ends, and was quite pleased with the end result.
Beautiful, lots of work but well worth it.

Very pretty, I like the the black and white one.
I have just finished this Royal Star Doona cover as a wedding present for a young friend. It was the first paper piecing I have ever done, and was determined to try it. I has some trouble understanding the instructions as they didnt make sense in places and emailed the lady who writes books on quilting that had put it on the internet and asked her for some finer details and was rudely replied to that "I am to busy to to videos as I am a working girl you know, look up paper piecing on google."
This is my latest quilting project that I have made for a special sister in law.
It is going from Melbourne to Sydney just for being there.
As I live in Australia the costs of the blades is more than in US> Some time ago I read a post that a lady said her hubby found a way to sharpen her blades to make them last a bit longer, but she didnt say how he done it. I have read some posts of different ideas, but was wondering if that lady could say how the blades were sharpened please. I dont recall her name.
Help I done a silly thing
I was doing some transfers of pictures onto fabric with the iron and had a thick towel under, but my cutting board was under the towel. Now I have a section on the edge of the cutting board right in the middle of the edge that is I guess you call it warped with the heat. Is there anyway that I can reverse this or have I stuffed it up completely . I can still use the board but I have to be careful if I am cutting bigger pieces of fabric. Any suggestions please, besides
