BUT what size hexies could I make with pre-cut 2.5 inch squares? My mind won't grab the math. I know you have to measure the biggest part of the hexie but................................

In putting this one together, I decided I wanted some light blocks in the center as a focal point and to sort of highlight the secondary patterns and then I just alternated diagonally the light rows with the dark rows. After that, the blocks' colors get to
