I wish I had taken a picture of this swag lamp when I bought it. I got it at a yard sale for $1.00. It was probably from the 60s. The shade was cylindrical and stained and broken with cowboys riding horses. I grabbed a different stained up white lampshade and decoupaged the tissue paper onto it. My husband's son bought him this poster with the family name (Fear) and crest with a description of the origin of the name. The design is applique and embroidery.
Made for my son. The idea started with the yellow center mandala and grew from there. The mandala is a pattern called Almaaz, I bought it from eQuiltpatterns. Paper pieced and way easier than it looks! I like it crumpled!
