Another solar light by my workshop ...

I wish I had taken a picture of this swag lamp when I bought it. I got it at a yard sale for $1.00. It was probably from the 60s. The shade was cylindrical and stained and broken with cowboys riding horses.

I grabbed a different stained up white lampshade and decoupaged the tissue paper onto it. I then glued on the ribbon and beaded it all around. Also beaded the pull.

What I learned...should have been more careful about trimming seams, they show through in the light!

Small preview.

Baby quilt I made for my grandson. I called it Lava Lanes after the bowling alley in Medford, Oregon. The colors on the floor and walls there are wild. Also, there is a picture of his mom and dad before Theo was even considered at Lava Lanes!

This came from a pattern in a Fons and Porter magazine. This was machine pieced and hand quilted.

This was a result of my playing with thread and textures.

My husband's son bought him this poster with the family name (Fear) and crest with a description of the origin of the name. The design is applique and embroidery.

Made for my son. The idea started with the yellow center mandala and grew from there.

The mandala is a pattern called Almaaz, I bought it from eQuiltpatterns. Paper pieced and way easier than it looks!



I like it crumpled!
