I posted a pic and was touched by all the nice comments. I love this quilt board!
What a nice way to perk up my Tuesday by depositing money into my checking account. Hurray. I did some more sewing on my HSTs last night and I only have one more stack of about 30 left to sew. I should finish those up tonight and I'll start ironing tonight as well. I'm sewing them on my Singer 301A, Helen, and she is doing such a great job. I'm also chain piecing which is something I have never done before. It's lots of fun. Then is it on to arranging my squares or not, ...
I understand how you feel. Remember that your intent was good and that kindness counts in this world. However, I was taught that a "thank you" cost nothing and is the least thing one can do for the kindness of others. Keep your cheer about giving and don't let unthoughtful actions of others change your charity. Beautiful and cute. I'm sure she will love it. yMar Originally Posted by mtkoldra my best friend gave me her old dress to make a quilted item for her. The kit instruction says to use a marking pen, but I think that I would rather hand embroidered. Has anyone used a pen and will it stay, not fade?
