Hi - I won this new Bernina from the Quilt Across Texas. Out of 94 stores, I went to 72 in 8 days. Over 1700 miles driving across the largest state in the country. Would have loved to make it to all the stores. Met a great deal of friendly, helpful quilters.

This is how I do it.....I put the wrong side up of the backing, on my average size dinning room table, then put down the batting, then the top....I make sure all my edges are correct, I generally cut by batting 2" wider all around, and then my batting 3" wider than top, using this method I can see the edge of my top, the edge of the batting and the edge of the backing all the way around, and know everything is square and good to go......

Now on to some right side triangles. And I should join a 4 x 4 block square together to see if I want 1/2, 3/4 or 1" sashing. Ideas are welcome! Also I'm thinking that the "blank" triangles that go between the patterned ones might look nice in the plain muslin that I use for the background and will also be the sashing.
For H12 the "hearts" should be pairs of tear drops which I tried to do but failed miserably! May do it again someday or maybe not! The
I am new to quilting and trying my first with the jelly roll. I am stuck. I have sewn all pieces together and now have sewn the strips together to make two strips. I stopped to cook and now I have a cirlce and do not know where to cut and start with my third strip. I appreciate any help.
