Cleaning out the attic ...do I save it? In need of repair at the very least. The fabric feels almost brittle, disintegrating. Beautiful colors, the backing seems fine.
You folks are my first inquiry...any advice greatly appreciated.

Cut 2 1/2 inch strips the width of the fabric, sew 5 together, cut into squares (I think that would be ten inch squares), then alternate the directions of the stripes, putting sashing between them. I'm sure this has been answered before,but....is there a certain procedure for washing, drying and ironing a newly finished quilt. cotton fabric top, flannel backing, poly batting.
I am looking for a Block of the Month pattern from Mc Calls magazine called Grandma's Country Album II. It is in the June-December issues of 1999. I have Part 5 & 6, and would like to find 1 thru 4. Can anybody help?
