  2. Walking Foot

    by , 11-29-2012 at 08:48 AM
I have a Viking machine and I attached the walking foot, but when using it with my fabric the thread keeps breaking. Anybody know what is causing this thread break? I have used this foot before so I know that it works. It's been a while since I used it and I don't have the packaging information. I have re-thread the machine many times.

Here is the recipe I told many about in chat room back before Thanksgiving. I made bread loafs, cinnamon rolls and hot rolls with this dough and love it! Never had anyone not like it either!

  6. Quilting over fat seams

    by , 11-27-2012 at 08:50 AM
We started using our Tin Lizzie a few months ago. We practiced on whole cloth and were ready to do a real quilt top. When we started quilting on the pieced top, the machine would resist and drag when the machine crossed the corner seams. Everything I have read about machine quilting says to stay relaxed and not hold the handles too tightly. When we hit these seams we have to push through them, distorting the pattern. Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, is there a solution?
