As I live in Australia the costs of the blades is more than in US> Some time ago I read a post that a lady said her hubby found a way to sharpen her blades to make them last a bit longer, but she didnt say how he done it. I have read some posts of different ideas, but was wondering if that lady could say how the blades were sharpened please. I dont recall her name. Thank you

I finally finished these pillowcases for the 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge and will turn them in at the next guild meeting of my local Modern Quilt Guild. I am so glad I got these finished as the fabrics have been sitting around looking at me, begging to be made into pillowcases for some time. I obliged those begging fabrics now off they go.

I have a lot of squares leftover from the first quilt I made and I told my DD that I would make another and give it to her. I did buy some new fabrics to freshen up the look a little. I have been knitting the last couple of weeks. I'm making two knitted hats to give away at my family reunion and ...

Choosing a name for your quilt is SEW important. Love and care goes into each quilt. Each stitch, each piece of carefully chosen fabric takes time to lovingly create a baby quilt. Why not take time to name your quilt? To keep a quilt part your family, an heirloom, the name becomes important. Quilts stand the test of time, and so it will continue to bring warmth for years to come. The name for the quilt should be given great consideration. You can choose from unusual names, ...
