Made for my son. The idea started with the yellow center mandala and grew from there. The mandala is a pattern called Almaaz, I bought it from eQuiltpatterns. Paper pieced and way easier than it looks! I like it crumpled!

This was just me playing around with textures and patterns. MIL bought this from me for 75 bucks for her granddaughter.
Decided to post some of my work in this blog. First is my bright backpack. I love this pattern! The pattern came in a book kit that I bought on clearance at Books a Million for 8 bucks for my son. He made the Ohio Star pillow and was done with sewing.
