  1. Fiskar 24" rotary ruler

    I have been trying to find one of these. I tried one the other day at a friends house. I must really be behind on times I didn't know they made stuff like this. I couldn't believe there was a ruler with a rotary cutter on them. I have looked and no where to be found. Any one know where I can find this.

  2. blew out my knee and can't get to the sewing room!

    I'm totally bummed right now! Yesterday I blew out my knee walking out of the LQS(at least this was AFTER a wonderful lunch with friends and a quick peak of some gorgeous materials) and while I went back to the Guild "advanced" class to do my first harder block, I spent 4 hr. at ER last night. Sat night at the ER of a trauma hospital gave my DH tons of material for his novels, but I was bored silly! So now I'm in a leg immobilizer and on crutches (pretty shakey too) and can't get up ...

  3. 1930s Friendship Quilt Blocks

    I have 14 quilt blocks with the name of the quilter embroidered on it. Based on research through Ancestry.com, I think the blocks were made between 1935 and 1945 by ladies living in a rural town called Hygiene, Colorado (near Boulder). Most blocks were hand sewn while a few were sewn by machine. I would appreciate any advice on how to turn the blocks into the friendship quilt it should be.
