can anyone tell me the best way to sew diamonds together
Has anyone upgraded to the new POM wheels and track for their HQ Avante? I am wondering if it made a big difference in the movement of the machine.
Thanks for any feedback.

Well I have been thinking about doing some blogging. its been a lot of water under the bridge these past two years. I have dealt with a husband having his work actually knocked out from under him. a daughter living with us and taking over my home. and i let her because of all i was dealing with. A DGS that we raised get into trouble which tore my heart in two. A DGD that we raised that was upset that we lt her mother live in our home while I was still dealing with the other three stories.

I am in the process of string piecing a bunch of quilt blocks, and I decided to use up some scrap batting to make the blocks. I glued the batting to the backing, and this is the glue I used.
Boil 3 cups water, add 1/2 tsp salt. Reduce heat to medium, whisk 3 Tbsp flour into the water, a pinch at a time. Continue whisking to break up the flour, and cook until it thickens to a consistency of egg white, or maybe gravy.
Living in Kansas and we got hammered with "thunder snow" this morning--think about 10-12" total--hard to tell because it blew really hard--and have a drift near the truck that is at least 4' high! Trudged out to feed horses and totally exhausted when I came in!
BUT it meant schools were closed so no work for me today OR tomorrow--finishing a string QAYG for a baby shower for next weekend and then back to a birthday quilt for DIL--loving this!
i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a pattern for a shopping cart seat cover ?
