My friends father just died. He had Alzheimer's and she took care of him for 15yrs. She has requested that a quilt be made out of his clothing. I've never heard of this. Ties, yes. Clothes, no. Feedback please!
Well we had our county fair this past week end, and I got several ribbons, 3, 3ed place, 2, 2ed place, and 7, 1st place, and best of show, grand champion. WOW I was not expecting any, so was a real surprise. LOL
Work on my little Cottage is really coming along, power in, lights in, air & heat all in and it works great, all insulated and sheet rock almost all done ready to paint, then sink and counter will go in and flooring. I can hardly wait, so ready to do some dyeing!!
Can anyone help me find the pattern for this quilt?
Yesterday was a no-quilting day. I had a writing assignment I HAD to finish for work. I cheated Sunday and quilted all day. Trying to get enough projects for hand quilting to keep me busy in Israel.

There is a plethora of patriot quilt blocks that tempt me. Wouldn't you know, I would love to make a block I found & it is an 11 1/2" and I need it to be 12 1/2.
I would love to be a mathematical genius but I'm not.
Is there anyone who can help? I appreciate it.
So, I am new to quilting but not to sewing. I have a Baby Lock Sophia 2 machine. I use this machine to piece and I want to use it to quilt as well. Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or comments on the dos and don'ts of quilting on a regular sewing machine?
Wa hey another quilt polished off
