  3. The Farmer's Wife

I started mine a couple of years ago -- have been posting pictures on the Yahoo Group site. I had fallen behind in my quest to work on it in numerical order. I had about 30 blocks done when the local quilt shop decided to start up a group and we meet once a month. They decide to use good ole math and the Marti Mitchel templates. I decided it was a good time to start back up.

I am completely caught up with them and am ready to go back to numerical order until our next meeting.

  4. Almost Done with Another

    by , 02-26-2014 at 06:39 PM
Another grandson and his quilt just about done. Will probably finish it by Friday and attach picts. Then I need to start working on ideas for VBS and maybe make the neighbor a quilt. My last quilt will be for my Christmas granddaughter that is the youngest of my four, so will have to come up with something special for her birthday and Christmas present. It took me so long to get into the mood to sew this winter and my machine has been acting up too. Oh well, next blog will have picture.

  5. My first mid- arm Machine

    by , 02-26-2014 at 11:02 AM
Hi everyone, I am new to the blog thing, in fact this is the first thing I have ever posted. I bought a used Grace Machine Quilter with a Juki TL 98 machine. Included was a black box called Quilter's Cruise Control but it does not have any connections. I think it needs the optical encoder hardware and probably the stylus but does anyone know what else I am missing and where to find the parts? There was also a speed control box with a thread cutter button and a large foot pedal that also has a thread ...

    by , 02-25-2014 at 09:09 PM
I have traded up from Viking Opal 670 to Sapphire 960Q. Do any Sapphire owners have quilting, decorative, embroidery-like creations that you would like to share pictures of? I would love to see them and I think other Viking owners would be inspired!! Thanks,

  8. suggestions of Phoenix quilt shops?

    by , 02-25-2014 at 08:01 PM
The DH and I leave Sat for a week in Phoenix and we can't wait--besides the chance to leave winter behind for a week of 70's temperatures, my FIL died last week and we've been very busy with funeral, etc--not to mention being in that numb, mourning phase despite his 92 year long life being so blessed in so many ways. And we were all blessed by his life.
So now I have basically 3 days to get ready for Phoenix--besides the usual laundry, packing, etc, I had fallen well behind on my quilting--so ...

The PDF has a 5 pointed star, shaded light and dark points in 3 different styles. Hope you enjoy them.
